Get Away, Relax & Unwind at Finger Lake Wilderness Resort. We are the only property on this beautiful lake within the 17000 ha Finger-Tatuk Provincial Park. You will find log cabins along the shoreline & RV Campsites, all at affordable rates. Finger Lake Wilderness Resort is a small, family oriented resort where service is our specialty.
Finger Lake is 9 Km long, 17 meters deep, with over 33 kms of shoreline. There are many sheltered bays and 4 islands to explore, have a picnic, fish or just cruise our scenic lake for wildlife viewing and nature photography. The chances of seeing bear, moose, wolverine, lynx, deer are excellent. Many bird species can be spotted at Finger Lake; White Pelicans, Trumpeter Swans, Eagles, Osprey, Loons, Herons, etc... For the more adventurous, there are 3 waterfalls in the area and many hiking trails.
Finger Lake has excellent trout fishing and rewards the angler with wild rainbow trout to 4 pounds as well as kokanee salmon. Trolling small spinners with or without a willow leaf is very productive. Dragon fly nymphs, doc spratleys or popular leach patterns are just as rewarding.
The high catch frequency, no size limit, no bait or gear restrictions make this a great family fishing destination. There are two docks, both a short walk from your cabin or campsite for the kids to fish from.
Expect great fishing from mid May right to the end of October. Pick up a depth map at the on-site store, which sells groceries, licenses, lures, flies and bait. Canoes, paddle boats and aluminum boats with motors are available for rent.
